My name is Giannis Dakouros-Tofalos and I grew up on the island of Zakynthos, where my family ran one of the first and historic Snack-Bar Restaurants created on the island, specifically founded in 1977. I have studied Informatics in Management and Economics, and also I have a master's degree in eGoverment.

I started working with the art of photography from a very young age, starting with photographing the interior and exterior of our family business, but also photographing its food and desserts. I believe that my love for capturing moments in photo albums and shooting in our family business, triggered my desire to be more actively involved in the photography industry.

 

I have attended and participated in several seminars and workshops on the art of photography, but from 2018 I decided and started working in a more professional capacity, either working on my own projects, or doing various collaborations with other people in the photographic and non-photographic field.
